40lbs of crawfish. With potatoes, mushrooms, onion, corn on the cobb

The famous annual Landraneau Crawfish Broil was in full effect.  Roughly 120lbs of fresh crawfish were cooked up true ‘Orleans style, and consumed as such. Some pictures of Chef Landraneau himself from start to finish.  Chowing down consists of painstakingly prying for your little bit of prize meat. Some say it’s not worth it. But eating is just part of the fun. Around the table is where the action is at; chit-chatting while your attack the food….messy, yet so good.
