  mmm. slowdown’s slow on the uptake of new tech. twitter definitely has it’s uses.

  there is a lot of news that flies around twitter faster than it gets around to bigger news sites. especially game tournament type stuff. u can get links to things that are happening live b/c twitter is faster than blogs.

  it’s also a big deal for sports fans who can follow their fav writer at a game live. i don’t use it for that per say, but i know someone who does.

  i kind of agree with slowdown… it might have its uses, but the way it’s being used by a lot of the mainstream is pretty dumb, especially celebrity culture’s embracing of twitter…
