well this is just dandy. the 9th circuit just ruled that you have no right to privacy in your driveway or on the road. so police can legally put a gps tracker on your car and track you w/o a warrant. this ruling affects anyone that lives in the western US. okay, not everyone. anyone who lives behind a gate, such as a celebrity has an expectation of privacy based on the fact that they live behind a gate. but driveways, they don’t count.

on principle, i think this ruling is abhorrent as i think ppl have a right not to have their property invaded and tracked however police want. but since it’s legal, i think the first thing ppl in the west need to do is to attach gps devices to all the cars of judges and their families on the 9th circuit, and then all the law enforcement and government official vehicles and have the info linked to some service like foursquare. let’s see how you like living life under a microscope motherfuckers.

Marines ftw. This is like watching a video game, I can’t count how many ship levels I’ve played in an fps.

What the hell is going on over here? Snow is making ppl crazy. Rumors of 10 ppl being taken to the hospital from the UAH shooting. this is the 2nd school shooting in two weeks. the first one happened at a middle school.

Update: 3 dead. Shooter was a faculty member who may have been denied tenure this morning. Victims all faculty.

Yet another sad story about young people in China being addicted to games. This one is much more bizarre:

just a little blurb i thought was funny.

some genius cops raided the home of a hacker forum admin and used the forum server (r00t-y0u.org) as a honeypot to grab info on the hackers. being rather proud geniuses, they let ABC do a feature on their feat. of course, hackers being hackers, found that the geniuses hadn’t put a password on the root database on which they stored the evidence and seized control of it shortly afterwards.

so evil, lol.  at least they left the front airbags in.
